Nancy Baldwin, 71, of Lewisport, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at her home. She was born June 29, 1946 in Vesper, Wisconsin to the late Lloyd Frank and Zora Walker Sentek. Nancy was of the Baptist faith and had worked as a nurse's aid at the former Our Lady of Mercy Hospital. She enjoyed dirt track racing at Windy Hollow, traveling with family and friends, and spending time with family. Nancy was loved by everyone. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Norman Baldwin on February 6, 1999, a son, David Thurby on December 29, 1995, a daughter, Candy Seaton in 2013, and four sisters and two brothers.
Surviving are a son, Wayne (Dana) Thurby of Elkton, a daughter, Carol (Daniel) Roberts of Lewisport, five grandchildren, Misty (Matt) Killion of Reynolds Station, Larry (Dallas) Ramsey of Lewisport, Tiffany Thurby, Christopher (Autumn) Thurby, and Amber Thurby, all of Owensboro, 14 great grandchildren, three sisters, Shirley Duttko of Georgia, Debbie Morris and Margie Howard, both of Texas, three brothers, Don Sentek of Illinois, Kenny Sentek of Arizona, and Allen Sentek of Wisconsin, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be Noon Tuesday, June 12, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Island Community Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Monday and after 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
