Nola Alice Reed Thomas, age 83, Norton VA passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Mountain View Regional Medical Center, Norton, VA. She was born August 8, 1933 in Norton, VA, the daughter of the late Martin B. Reed and Sarah Susan Ringley Reed. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her two sons: Billy Wayne Wampler and George Sanford Blanken.
She is survived by her children: Jim (Kathy) Wampler, Theresa W. (John) Meade, Margaret G. (Arnold) Billings, and Sharron (Larry) Dellinger; grandchildren: Jason Wampler, Sarah (Greg) Mullins, Tim Billings, Amanda (Jordan) Mullins, Lewis Blanken, Michael (Rebecca) Meade, Nicole (Kevin) Blanken; great grandchildren: Luke Mullins, Ian Mullins, Lakyn Mullins, Kayin Mullins and Karley Mullins; and special friends: Nellie Wireman and Nadine Clark.
Memorial service will be 6:30 p.m., Monday, May 1, 2017 at East Park Avenue Baptist Church in Norton, VA with Rev. Lee Kidd officiating. The family will receive friends 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday, May 1, 2017 at East Park Avenue Baptist Church in Norton, VA.
