Anna Marie Davis, 67, of Jacksonville passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. She was born January 11, 1951 in Beardstown the daughter of Joseph and Clara Surratt Davis.
She is survived by two sons, Mike Davis of Jacksonville and Sharron Davis of Hillsboro; one daughter, Malissa Davis (companion, Clifton Slater, Sr.) of Jacksonville; 6 grandchildren, Demetria Davis, Samantha Davis Tabatha Davis, Nikesha Slater, Clifton Slater, Jr. and Clara Slater; two great-grandchildren, Grace Davis and Jatre Harris, Jr.; three sisters, Charlotte (Bill) Trent of Ft. Wayne, IN, and Kathy (Terry) Hunter and Betty Williams both of Jacksonville and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Stephen H. Davis (surviving wife, Ogleama of Jacksonville) and one sister, Mary Perkins.
Anna had worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years. She enjoyed taking care of people and spending time with her family.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Williamson Funeral Home with burial at Chapin Cemetery. The family will meet friends from 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the family.
