Raymond Moreno, 74, of De Leon, passed away June 7, 2018. He was born February 28, 1944, in Burnet, Texas to Daniel Moreno and Nanica Anandiz Moreno. Raymond was married to his loving wife of over thirty years, Sandra Moreno. Sandra preceded him in 2015.
Raymond and Sandra lived in De Leon for thirty years and raised their family here. He was a long-time member of Our Lady Guadalupe Catholic Church, De Leon. He was employed as a ranch hand and he loved his job and that it allowed him to be outdoors. Raymond enjoyed fishing, farming, harvesting pecans and spending time with his large family and many friends. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
Raymond was preceded by his wife, Sandra; daughter, Josie Moreno; parents; and twelve brothers and sisters.
Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, June 9, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with interment following in De Leon Cemetery. The Moreno family will receive friends Friday from 6-8:00 p.m. at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home with Rosary Prayer at 7 p.m.
