Patricia Louise Maxwell age 83 of Russellville, the last remaining child of William Dewey and Mattie Lue Willingham-Combs, died Saturday, June 2, 2018 at her home. She was born April 10, 1935 at Checotah, Oklahoma. She was a “Grapes of Wrath Okie”, Dust Bowl Depression Era Childhood. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was known for her beauty and sweetness and gourmet cooking. We had you for 83 years mom. She was preceded in death by her parents; her favorite brother, Curtis; her other brothers, Dewey, Rick and Billy Don Combs; her youngest son, Matthew Maxwell (1982); sisters, Betty Lue and Ann and a son-in-law, Steve Frinkle.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Richard Maxwell of Russellville; son, Tim and wife Barbara; daughter, Vickey; two step sons, Richard and Danny Maxwell and wives; grandchildren, Jamey, Ashley and Jason Frinkle; two great grandchildren, Micala and Landon Foy and many nieces, nephews and her sister-in-law, Darlene Combs and family.
Cremains interred at Fort Gibson National Military Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma with many of her ancestors. Graveside services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
