With great sadness, we announce the passing of Jeanne Esther Fields (Naylor), age 92, who left us for Heaven on Monday, June 4, 2018. Jeanne was born on August 1, 1925 in Toledo, OH. Growing up on the East Side, she was always the girl who loved being outside playing sports and who got into trouble for playing football with the boys in a dress. Her faith was always important to her as evidenced by her 30-year membership at Calvary Church. After she grew up, got married, and raised three children, she found a new adventure as an antique dealer. She loved "making a deal", but most importantly she loved all the friendships she formed with a wide variety of people from many different backgrounds. Her ability to communicate and counsel was unsurpassed, which brought her close to many who loved her dearly.

She will be forever missed by her husband of 72 years, Charles; her daughter, Becky; her seven grandchildren; her ten great-grandchildren; other loved ones and multiple friends. She was preceded in death by two sons, Doug and Lee; both parents; four sisters and one brother.

The visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 12th from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue, with funeral services beginning at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 13th. The burial will be at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, 4210 Central Ave., Toledo, OH 43606. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to Cherry Street Mission, 105 17th St., Toledo, OH 43604. Please visit walterfuneralhome.com to leave condolences for the family.
