Mary Sellwood

Mary A. Sellwood, 84, of Ottumwa, died June 6, 2018 at Ridgewood Specialty Care in Ottumwa.

She was born July 22, 1933 in North Platte, NE to Clifford and Ava May Hartline Anderson. She married Maley Sellwood on December 23, 1967 and he preceded her in death on January 6, 2010.

Mary had worked at St. Joseph Hospital and worked for 20 years at the Canteen. She loved crocheting, reading and fishing.

Surviving are her sons, Donald (Danielle) Craft Jr. of Cheyenne, WY, and Alfred Craft (Sheena Lipp) of Ottumwa; 14 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Paul (Pat) Anderson of Ottumwa and a sister, Rose Schelker of Albia.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Miller; a son, Byron Craft Sr.; 2 grandchildren; 2 infant brothers, Charles and Clifford Anderson; 2 sisters, Sarah Spilman and infant Nancy Anderson.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor Marthana Newland officiating.

Burial will be in Chisman Cemetery.

Visitation begins at 1 p.m. Friday with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
