Obituary of Eva Harrison

Eva Lou Harrison, 87, a retired Supervisor at Delta Farm Press, died June 6, 2018 at Baptist Desoto in Southaven, MS. Visitation is Friday June 8, 2018, 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. at Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS. Funeral services are 2:00 P.M. Friday at Meredith-Nowell Chapel in Clarksdale, MS with burial in the Oakridge Cemetery. Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS is handling the arrangements.

Mrs. Harrison was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Shriner Auxiliary, Primetimers and PEP.

She is survived by her daughters Barbara Morris and Beverley Peyton (Frankie) of Clarksdale, MS; brothers D.L. Ward and Lexie G. Ward of Pontotoc, MS; sisters Olene Patterson of Houlka, MS, Vida Adams and Gwinda Sprayberry of Pontotoc, MS; grandchildren Stephanie McCrory, Zach Peyton, Ashley Barrett (John) and Eric Peyton and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Burlin (Burt) D. Harrison; parents Delma and Attie Douglas Ward; brother Douglas Ward and sister Wilma Finley.

Presiding over the service will be her nephews Rev. Gerald Finley and Rev. Donnie Finley.
