Carol Anne (Knox) Webster of Blue Springs, Missouri formerly of Dallas, Texas passed away on June 4, 2018 at the age of 73 after a long illness. She was born on August 9, 1944 to Col. Glen E. and Joyce (Henley) Knox in Dodge City, Kansas. Carol spent her life serving and caring for others and especially was committed to her work with the Dallas homeless. Carol worked for the City of Dallas as a Crisis Intervention Counselor and retired from the city after 19 years of service. She had a strong, unwavering faith in God that sustained her throughout her life.

Carol is survived by her daughters, Teri Alvarez and husband, Dion of Royse City, Texas, Jean Wilmott and husband, Greg of Blue Springs, Missouri; grandchildren, Andrew Williams, Rachael Alvarez, Zane Wilmott and Payton Wilmott; sister, Nancy Bollay and husband, Tom of Montecito, California; her best friend and extended member of the family, Monica McGee; her beloved dog, Dallas; and numerous other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Col. Glen and Joyce Knox; and her ex-husband, Samuel Webster, Jr.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at John Knox Village Care Center for their excellent care, unique love and companionship they had for her. The love was mutual.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. Interment will follow at Fitzhugh Cemetery, 2540 Country Club Road, Allen, Texas 75002. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Donations may be made in Carol’s honor to the Alzheimer’s Association.
