Kathy Marie (Mote) Stanley of Lavon, Texas passed away on June 1, 2018 at the age of 58. She was born on December 3, 1959 to James Leonard and Vera Beatrice (Knight) Mote in Georgia. Kathy married Danny Wayne Stanley on October 7, 1983 in Atlanta, Georgia. She was a member of Chase Oaks Church in Plano, Texas.
Kathy is survived by her daughters, Danuel Peacher and husband, Tommy of Stockbridge, Georgia, Tiffany Thompson and husband, James of Wylie, Texas, Stephanie Michelle Glasgow and husband, Will of Ashland City, Tennessee, and Jennifer Stephens and husband, Bryan of Lavon, Texas; grandchildren, Daniel, Amber, Abby, Tanner, McKenzie, Madison, and Sean; and many other loving family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Wayne Stanley; parents, Leonard and Beatrice Mote; brother, Jimmy Mote; and sister, Martha Thompson.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The family will receive friends during visitation on Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
