Lillian Theresa Nash, 85, passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Fountain West Care Center, where she resided. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, April 2, 2012 at Westkirk Presbyterian Church, 2700 Colby Woods Drive, Urbandale, of which she was a member.

Lillian was born on October 20, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Caroline (Krug) and George Hetlinger. She moved to Des Moines in 1959. Lillian was a homemaker.

Lillian is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Jones of Waukee, four grandchildren, Rick (Tami) Walsh, DeeDee Walsh, Tina (Steve) Postel and Jennifer Jones; five great- grandchildren, Trey Walsh, Seth Postel, Tatum Postel, Ty Walsh and Talia Postel; and her sisters, Elaine (Paul) Laderer and Eleanor Cochonour. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Nash and a sister, Dorothy Laschober.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Westkirk Presbyterian Church.
