Calvin Quincy Harris, Jr., of Pauls Valley, passed away June 5, 2018 in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 92 years.

Calvin was born March 22, 1926 in Mill Creek, Oklahoma to Florence (Carhee) Harris and Calvin Quincy Harris, Sr. He was raised at Mill Creek, Oklahoma where he attended school and is a graduate of the Mill Creek High School. He has lived at the old family home in Mills Creek. Pauls Valley has been his home for the past 12 years; moving from the family home at Mill Creek.

He career was in Civil Service and worked at the Tinker Air Force Base and later at the Reynolds Hospital at Ft. Sill as a Supervisor in Material Supply until he retired. Calvin always enjoyed gardening, but more so after retirement. He also enjoyed dancing and listening to music.

He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin Q. Harris, Sr. and mother, Florence Harris; 1 brother and 4 sisters.

His surviving family include: 3 children, Ron Harris and wife, Paula, of Cedar Hill, Texas; Kathy Harris of Duncanville, Texas; and Julie Reinee McAngus and husband, Bill, of Pauls Valley; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Iva Jones of Texas; and Virginia Ozment of Victoria, Texas; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
