She worked as a nurse at Mary Washington Hospital for thirty years.
Ms. Skidmore is survived by her nephews, Charles and Michael Pyburn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thurman and Annie Skidmore; her sister, Mary Ann Ellis; and nephews Randy and James Pyburn.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, October 10th, 2015 at the Oak Hill Cemetery.
