Tony Marvin Harris, Sr., 71, of Claremont, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 following a period of declining health.
Tony was born November 13, 1946 in Burke County, to the late Stuart Harris and Glennie Stroupe Harris.
He worked as an electrician, but was known to be a "Jack of all Trades" as well. Tony loved to collect coins, work on puzzles, and watch the History and National Geographic channels; but mostly he will be remembered for the love he had for everyone and his generosity.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 18, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Service in Valdese, with Rev. Gary Garner and Rev. Rex Shaver officiating. Interment will follow at Burke Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 18, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Service.
