Celebration of Life Service for Katherine "Ms. Rina" McDaniel will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at 1;00 p.m. at Westside M.B. Church, with the Reverend Patrick Franklin, officiating and interment in Sterrs Cemetery. The body will lie in repose thirty minutes prior to the service. Public viewing will be Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Katherine "Ms. Rina" McDaniel was born to the late Preston and Lillie Elliott on November 16, 1952, in Lawrence County.

She graduated from Courtland High School in the Class of 1971. Soon after graduation she and her family relocate to Decatur, AL. She later married the love of her life Larry McDaniel.

"Ms. Rina" was blessed with a kind and loving heart, always putting her needs last and everyone else's first. She lived a wonderful life as a housewife and home maker. She was member of Westside Baptist Church, where she served on the kitchen committee with women that she loved.
