Mrs. Wallace was born on July 29, 1931 in Lincoln County, Tennessee to the late William R. and Jessie Parker Bryant. Martha worked as a seamstress with Serbin and later with Lee Jeans Manufacturing. She was captain of her basketball team in school, made the best biscuits, and loved to sew clothing for her family and friends. You could often find Martha babysitting or hunting for a good bargain at yard sales and thrift stores. Mrs. Wallace passed away on April 27, 2018 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
Survivors include her two daughters, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, a sister, four brothers and a sister-in-law of Texas. In addition to her parents and husband, Martha was preceded in death by her siblings, Billy (Elsie Mae) Bryant and Rachael Bryant (Lynn) Whitaker.
Visitation with the family will be from 4 PM until 7 PM on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Higgins Funeral Home.
