Sylvia V. Blake, 86, died at 3:15 a.m. Friday, April 20, 2007, at West Shore Health and Rehabilitation in Camp Hill. She was the wife of the late Clarence A. Blake. Born February 24, 1921, in York County, she was a daughter of the late Dewey and Emma (Malehorn) Sipe. She operated a small farm and was the owner of Blake's Terrier Sales, where she bred Terrier-Chihuahua mix. Mrs. Blake is survived by two daughters, Lynn V. Blake of York Haven and Nettie J. Stout of New Cumberland; two stepdaughters, Beulah Nesbit of Lewisberry and Ruth Brenizer of Dover; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two stepdaughters, Anne Coble and Virginia Crone; two stepsons, Calvin Blake and Howard Blake; a brother, Daniel Sipe; and a sister, Lucy Updegraff. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 S. Main St., Manchester. Viewing will be 1 to 2 p.m. Burial will be in Emanuel Cemetery, Lewisberry.
