Sherri Ann (Pidkaminy) Thomas, 49, of Brewerton, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday at Upstate University Hospital following a seven week battle with cancer. Born in Syracuse, she graduated from Solvay High School and attended cosmetology school. Sherri was a self-employed hairdresser in Baldwinsville for 32 years. She was a faithful and active member of Abundant Life Christian Center in East Syracuse. She was predeceased by her mother-in-law, Elaine Thomas. She is survived by her husband and soulmate of 29 years; Paul Thomas, her children; Ethan (Katelyn), Austin and Peyton Thomas, parents; Edward and Janice (Louise) Pidkaminy, father-in-law; Albert Thomas, siblings; Edward (Linda) Pidkaminy, Wendy (Don) DelNero, Timothy Pidkaminy, in-laws; Keith (Dori) Thomas, David (Melanie) Thomas and Laurie (Jack) Fitch and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Saturday at Abundant Life Christian Center, 7000 All Nations Blvd, E. Syracuse. Private burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners. Family and friends may call from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Friday at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Abundant Life Christian Center Food Pantry, 7000 All Nations Blvd, E. Syracuse, NY 13057.
