Curt passed away peacefully surrounded by his family after a courages battle with cancer at the age of 73 years old. He was the son of Marks Revere Curtis and Mary Magnolia Vail. He married Zona Fay Sagers on April 10, 1953 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Curt and Zona had four daughters. Zona preceded him in death on August 15, 1984.
He served in the US Army during the Korean War. Curt was a country boy, born into a farming family. His gentle way with annimals, and his love for dancing, prospecting, fishing, and especially, rockhounding and lapidary.
Funeral Services were held on Friday, September 30, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at the Lake Hills Memorial Mortuary, 10055 South State Street. A Viewing was held on thursday night at the mortuary from 6:00 To 8:00 P.M. and on Friday at the Mortuary from 11:45 A.M. to 12:45 A.M. prior to services.
Graveside Services followed at Lake Hills Memorial Park where he was buried beside his Beloved Wife, Zona.
