BRADFORD - Joyce Violet Bush, 87, died on June 6, 2018, at a local hospital. She was born on Jan. 30, 1931, in Exeter, ME, to Ervin R. and Eva L. (Batchelder) Colbath. Joyce attended schools in Exeter and Corinna and worked for many years in local shoe shops and at the Hudson Elementary School.
She enjoyed fishing and going for Sunday drives. She loved making big family dinners and was happiest surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and family. Joyce is survived by two daughters, Janet and her husband, Joseph Cannon, and Terri and her husband, Kevin McCullough, all of Hudson; one son, David Bush of Bradford; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Roland J. Bush of Hudson, ME, her parents of Exeter, ME, her sister, Catherine Hartwell of Stetson, ME, and a brother, Martin Colbath of Corinna, ME.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018, from 1 - 3 p.m. at the Hudson Town Office Community Center (the old elementary school).
