Wesley J. Brown, 70, of 124 E. Pearl St., Falconer passed away peacefully Sunday (January 21, 2018) in his home surrounded by his family, after a courageous battle with B cell lymphoma.

He was born October 22, 1947 in Salamanca, NY, the son of the late Chrystal C. and Eva Winkler Brown Sr.

Wesley attended Bemus Point High School and in earlier years was employed by Barnes Construction, Labor Local 600 and retired from Vac Air Alloys. After retirement Wes was a bus driver for Carrier Coach, Coach USA and worked at ROBO Wash. He served as the Falconer Central School Crossing Guard which he enjoyed doing most of all.

Wes was a lifetime member of the Ellery Fire Department. He enjoyed spending time with his family, attending auctions, playing horse shoes, bowling, having beers with friends, camping, hunting, building things and was a huge Miami Dolphins Fan.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years Marcia Frost Brown; five daughters: Penny (Orville) Echard, Melisa (Scott) Dellahoy, Terrie (John) Swanson, Rhonda (Randy) Lookenhouse, Angela Brown; a son Troy (Gwen) Weldy.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three grandchildren: Danielle Echard, Janel Echard and William Seekings Jr.; four brothers: Charles Brown, William Brown, Lawrence "Stub" Brown and Chrystal C. Brown Jr; three sisters: Leyla Borquin, Hazel Brown and Cora Aldrich.

Burial will be in Grahmville Cemetery, North East, PA.
