Obituary of Billie Jean Carter Price
Billie Jean Carter Price, 73, passed away peacefully on Saturday (June 2, 2018) at her residence following a brief illness. Billie was born on May 13, 1945 in Kingsport, TN to the late Billy K. & Sylvia (Rhoten) Carter.

Billie was a lady of many artistic talents. She enjoyed hand quilting, making detailed mini-dollhouses, and ceramics. You could often find Billie selling her treasures at the local flea market. Billie was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, great-aunt, and friend; she will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, Billie was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Jo Worley.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Lisa K. Worley; sisters, Karen Jo Neal and Debbee Keys; brother, Gary Carter; grandchildren, Ashlee Nicole Hughes, Zach Gober, Magnolia Worley, and Jaxson Worley; one great-granddaughter, Emily Rose Hughes; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday (June 7, 2018) from 6 to 8 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the chapel of East Lawn at 8 p.m.

Billie will be laid to rest on Friday (June 8, 2018) at 3 p.m. in the Garden of the Mausoleum at East Lawn Memorial Park. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
