Dora Louise Marshall, 77, of Newport departed this life Sunday, June 3, 2018. She was born January 24, 1941 to William Henry (Gent) Pruitt and Alice Louise Davis and was a member of Maple Chapel Baptist Church of Blacksville. Ms. Marshall was a very forgiving and loving person and enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved working in her flower beds, cooking, shopping, working, and was a people person.
Siblings whom preceded her into Heaven were William Henry Pruitt, Jr., Leroy Pruitt, Bobbie Jean Robinson, Francis Pruitt Alexander, Mae Dean Pruitt Young, Mary Pruitt, Brenda Pruitt Lee, Linda Pruitt, two daughters; Trease Davis, and Erica Davis, one grandson; Gabriel Hardaway, and her parents,
Surviving loving family members are her children; Teddy Rydell Davis, Lisa Davis, Mary Hardaway, Sonny Jr. Hardaway, Samantha L. Suggs, Deano Marshall, Redeana Marshall, Rocky Marshall, Jamie Davis, and Veronica Davis, siblings; James Ed Davis, Troy Pruitt, Charles Pruitt, Jimmy Pruitt, Willie Pruitt, Edward Pruitt, Bette Pruitt Green, Shirley Pruitt Walker, host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 15, 2018 at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery.
