Tony Lynn (Baba) Moore, 52, of Wichita Falls passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018.
The family will receive friends between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls followed by a Going Home Celebration at 1:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Jesse Rowe, officiating. Interment will follow at Rosemont Cemetery under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
Tony was born on November 10, 1965 in Clarksville, Texas to John and Allie Zollicoffer. Tony’s family moved to Levelland at an early age, until settling in Wichita Falls in 1976, where Tony attended Austin Elementary, Zundy Jr. High, and Wichita Falls High School. Tony gave his life to Christ at an early age. Tony had many jobs over the years, last working for Select Industry Company, until he became ill, and was no longer able to work. He loved talking with people, especially the young and the elderly. He enjoyed fishing, whenever he could go, and participated in sports in Junior High and High School. Tony enjoyed spending holidays with family, and enjoyed watching all types of sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Zollicoffer in 2017.
He is survived by his wife Sharron Rene’a Moore; son Antwone Moore and wife, Stephanie of Garland; grandchildren, Ava of Corpus Christi, and Alavia and Mirissa of Garland; step-children, Nikki Horton of Burkburnett, Devayne Horton of Dallas, and Andrew Horton and wife, Jennie of Borger; four step grandchildren; mother, Allie Zollicoffer of Wichita Falls; sisters, Lynn Zollicoffer of Wichita Falls, Deborah Lawrence of Oklahoma City, and Maudie of Austin; mother-in-law, Scherrie Blackman; grandmother-in-law, Lorene Williams; aunts, Polly Stamps of Pacoima, California and Vera Golightly of Levelland; along with a host of cousins and friends.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Sheridan Medical Lodge for taking good care of Tony for the past several months. Also Promise Health Care Hospital for their care, and Beyond Faith Hospice for their comfort care.
