Harold C. Valleskey

Manitowoc - Harold C. Valleskey, age 92, a Manitowoc resident, died on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center,

Harold was born on July 31, 1925 in Collins, WI, son of the late Gustav and Clara (Baryenbruch) Valleskey. He was a graduate of Valders High School with the class of 1944. Harold served with the United States Army. On May 1, 1954 he married the former Charlotte Streich in Hillsboro, WI. She preceded him in death in November of 2008. Harold was an over the road truck driver for CW Transport until his retirement in 1988. He was a lifetime member of the Eagle Aerie 706 in Manitowoc. Harold was above all, a devoted father who enjoyed taking care of his family. He was an avid Packer fan who for many years had season tickets and enjoyed going to the games. He loved his cars and enjoyed driving around. He also enjoyed going on day trips with the Two Rivers Senior Center.

Survivors include two special nieces: Jodi Larson and Traci (Bill) Hoeltke, all of Manitowoc; one special nephew: Tom (Donna) Valleskey, Howards Grove; other nieces and nephews: Darlene Haese, Diane Lau, Sandy (Dick) Reindl, Nance (Bill) Harris, Jane (Peter) Wellington, Cathy (Bob) Wirth, Barbara (Jerry) TeVrucht, Gary (Barb) Vorpahl, Dan (Julie) Valleskey, Sue Ann Schuh, Diane (Dave) Haese, Jeri Lynn (Charles) Koch, Jan (Lynn) Larson and Kim Larson; and his dog: Cotie. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was also preceded in death by one son: Todd Valleskey, one daughter: Tammy Jo Valleskey; five brothers and four sisters-in-law: Orville and Gerry Valleskey, Milton and Valeria Valleskey, Bob and Olive Valleskey, Kenneth and Elsie Valleskey, Donald Valleskey; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Dorothy and William Haberman, Delores and Norman Vorpahl; two sisters-in-law: Ione (Reuben) Larson, Jermaine Ashford.

Cremation has taken place at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, and Funeral Services will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Matt Sauer with burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc, at a later date.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 3:00 p.m. until 4:15 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated in Harold's name to the CP Center of Green Bay, 2801 South Webster Ave, Green Bay, WI. 54301.
