Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Nobles, aged fifty-one years, died at 10:30 o'clock last night at the home of her son, Mr. J. L. Evans, 507 Pine street. Mrs. Nobles had been confined to her bed for a long time. Death was caused from pellagra. She was a devout member of the Baptist church. The funeral services were held at the home, 507 Pine street at 3:30 o'clock this afternoon, and were conducted by Rev. J. U. H. Wharton, pastor of the First Baptist church. Interment was in Hasley cemetery above West Monroe.
