Joyce Marie Warner, 84, of Marysville, died Thursday, November 30, 2017. She was born November 24, 1933 in Fort Gratiot Township to the late Alton and Harriett Edie. She married Robert Warner on August 2, 1951 in Gratiot Park United Methodist Church, Port Huron. He died April 10, 1990.

Mrs. Warner was employed at several local businesses, including Erd Marshall, Carpenter’s Meats, and Sears. She was a lifetime member of Gratiot Park United Methodist Church, a charter member of the NCHA Rolling Vikings and a Gold Key member of the YMCA. She enjoyed playing cards and playing games on her tablet but most important was time spent with family.

She is survived by four children, Jacqueline (Michael) Fogarty, Debbie (Joe) Eagen, Darcy (Karl) Wabrowetz and Robert (Tina) Warner; twelve grandchildren, Josh (Jana) Fogarty, Zachary (Rebecca) Eagen, Brandon (Mariana) Eagen, Hillary Eagen (Jon Reynolds), Brian Bisnett (Debbie Burton), Brent (Audrey) Wabrowetz, Amanda Wabrowetz, Alec Warner, Cody Brain, Codie Warner, Karlie Brain and Taylor Warner; four great-grandchildren, Jocelyn, Jonas, Theo and Sophia; two sisters, Sharron Zimmer and Wendy (Walter) Morden; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, James Zimmer.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 4, 2017 in Gratiot Park United Methodist Church. The Rev. Penny Nunn will officiate. Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville.
