On April 30, 1972 he was united in marriage to his loving wife, Sharon A. (Dausch) Hazel and she survives. Eddie and Sharon celebrated their love by renewing their wedding vows on their 45th wedding anniversary, April 30, 2017.
Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years, Sharon Hazel; his two daughters, Julia Ann (Ernest) Walker of Greenwood, and Teresa Ann Hazel of Plainfield; and two grandchildren, Kyle (Nora) Mahorney, and Trey Bean.
Eddie is also preceded in death by his grandparents, Dexter and Blanch “Granny” Caudill; and his brother, Dwight D. “Fat Man” Hazel.
Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
