Funeral services for Cherry Lee (Arthur) Green Brown, age 76 of Tyler, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at the Park Heights Assembly of God Church in Tyler with Bro. Jamie Eitson officiating. Interment will follow at the Lindale City Cemetery under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale. Cherry went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at her residence in Tyler. She was born November 20, 1941 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Levi Rast and Cora D. (Bassett) Arthur. She has spent the last 46 years in the Tyler area where she was a member of the Park Heights Assembly of God Church and for 25 years enjoyed working in the meat market at Brookshires. Cherry had a sincere love and compassion for all people, her beloved family, and her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She is preceded in death by 3 brothers, Levi Arthur Jr., William "Bucky" Hodges, and Henry Hodges. Cherry is survived by a son, Timothy Green of Whitehouse; daughters, Rebekah James and husband, Kenneth of Bullard and Stephanie Davidson and husband, Mike of Tyler; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 3 nieces and 1 nephew. Pallbearers will include, Matthew James, Jason James, Luke Green, Zach Green, Travis Walston, and David West.
