Kibbee.
Mrs. Mary E. Kibbee died at her home in Doniphan Friday June 16, at 9:40 p. m. The Kibbee family were old settlers of this county, having moved to Doniphan county about nine years ago. Mrs. Kibbie had been an invalid for several years, but had been rapidly failing for several months. She was a kind, loving christian mother and wife and was never heard to complain during all her years of sickness. She was loved by all who knew her. She leaves a husband and five children to mourn her loss. The children are: Mrs. Ida K. Smith and H. H. Kibbee, of Atchison; Miss Anna Kibbee, of Victor, Mont.; Lawrence Kibbee, of Good Intent; and Ed Kibbee, of Doniphan. The remains were brought to Hiawatha Sunday. Rev. Mr. Byers, of Robinson, conducted the funeral service at the Pleasant Hill church, northeast of Hiawatha. Burial was made in the Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
