Geraldine Marie Roberts, 84, of Summersville passed
away on Sunday, June 3, 2018, in the Summersville
Regional Medical Center Extended Care Facility. Born
December 11, 1933, at Landisburg, Fayette County, WV,
she was a daughter of the late Lacy and Finest Summers
Hughart. She was also preceded in death by her
husband, Angelo Roberts and by her siblings, Kathleen
Sloan, Harold Hughart, Romey Hughart, and Frank
Hughart.

She was a charter member of the New Beginnings
Worship Center at Summersville, a homemaker, a loving
mother and grandmother loved serving the Lord and her
church family, and was an avid seamstress and gardener.

Survivors include her children, Wayne, and his wife,
Charlene Roberts of Summersville, Sharon and her
husband, Roger Cook of Summersville, Michelle and her
husband, Mark Thomas of Summersville; siblings,
Josephine Hartley and Corrine McMillion, both of
Summersville, Evelyn Fisher of Flatwoods, Maxine
Gates and Victory Hughart, both of Summersville; 6
grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three great great
grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on
Wednesday, June 6, 2018, in the New Beginnings
Worship Center at Summersville with Pastor Stacy
Dingess officiating. Interment will follow in the Walker
Memorial Park at Summersville.

Friends may call at the White Funeral Home in
Summersville on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
