Benjamin F. Anthony was the son of Luther (of Brighton) & Julian (Davis) (of Fall River) Anthony and worked as a machinist. He was born in Taunton (per his son’s death record) or Lowell (per his death record). He married Eliza A. Bowden, daughter of John D. & Eliza Bowden, in Marblehead on 30 Sep 1853. It was a first marriage for both. He died of typhoid fever.
