Bobby Dale "Pops" Parrish, age 62 of Temple, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2018. He was born February 7, 1956 in Waco, Texas, son of the late James Edward Parrish and Mary Elizabeth Woods. He served in the United States Army and the United States Navy and following discharge he began his trucking career. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters. He is survived by his children, Kevin and Miranda Parrish of Columbia, SC, Janet and Zalde Schings of Norfolk, VA, Caroline and Sam Khiev of Temple, Eric Phillips of Mt. Zion, Danny and Miranda Parrish of Carrollton, and Brandon Phillips of LA ; one brother, William Parrish of Onalaska, TX; Partner Keney Beitlich twenty-four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Graveside service will be conducted Friday, June 8, 2018 at 2:00 PM from Carroll Memory Gardens with Min. Steven Edwards officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 :00 AM until 1 :30 PM. Navy Honor guard will perform military honors and presentation of the flag.
