The 1870 census of Concord, N.H., lists her as "Kate B. Barry," born in Maine, age 40 (born about 1830). She was living as a housekeeper with her brother, Rev. John E. Barry, pastor of St. John's Church.

The 1880 census of Concord, N.H., lists her as "Catherine Barry," born Maine, age 52 (born about 1828). She was living as a housekeeper with her brother, Rev. John E. Barry, pastor of St. John's Church.
