Carolyn attended several Ridgecrest schools during the years she as growing up. In the Ridgecrest Sidwinders 4-H Club, she earned the All-Star Leader rand, the highest rank the country can award.
Carolyn received her high school diploma from Antelope Valley Adult School in July 1992.
She went on to Antelope Valley College and Chapman University Campus, where she graduated with a bachelor of arts in social science. Carolyn continued on to earn a master of arts in special education from California State University. San Bernardino. She taught classes in Ridgecrest, Adelanto, CA and Bakersfield before being forced to retire because of disabilities.
Carolyn continued as a substitute t teacher in Tulare County school district until her passing Porterville.
She was preceded in death by her mother Judy. Carolyn's father, William, lives in Ridgecrest, and her brother Alan lives in Chicago, IL.
