Olivia Strickland, 77, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018.
Olivia was born on February 5, 1941 in Bainbridge, Georgia to the late Lewis and Estelle Ray. Raised in a military family, she grew up in Jacksonville, Florida and married the love of her life, in 1957. As a devoted military wife, she traveled all over the United States with her husband and children. Olivia loved hummingbirds and time spent with her beloved family. Her daughter, Theresa Ann Strickland, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, June 4, 2018 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Following the service, Olivia will be laid to rest in Andersonville National Cemetery.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Olivia Strickland to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Suite A, Macon, GA 31201 or the American Kidney Fund, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852.
