Fred Douglas Anderson was the son of Jones B. Anderson and Mary Isabelle Toney.

He first married Julia Revells in 1918. Julia passed away in 1944. In 1948 Fred married Edna Miller.

Fred was the Grandson of Burl Anderson and Mary Bailey.
