Spaulding, Albertine Gertrude

CENTER RUTLAND, Vt. * Albertine Gertrude Spaulding, 98, of Center Rutland, died Monday, April 9, 2007, at Mountain View Center Genesis Eldercare Network.

She was born Feb. 10, 1909, in Woburn, Mass., the daughter of William and Elizabeth M. (Dyer) Miltimore.

Mrs. Spaulding grew up and attended school in Mansonville, Quebec, Canada.

She married Walter Delbert Spaulding on June 15, 1935, in Sherburne, Vt. He died Jan. 19, 1984.

Survivors include a daughter, Jean (Spaulding) Hadden of Warrensburgh; a granddaughter, Kayce Ann (Hinton) Dimond of Center Rutland, Vt.; a grandson, Maclane Hadden of Queensbury; and eight nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by four brothers, Ray, William, Sidney and John Miltimore; and a sister, Mrs. Howard (Thelma Miltimore) Gould.

The funeral service was held Tuesday, April 17, at Tossing Funeral Home, Rutland, Vt. The Rev. Edward A. Hackett Jr., pastor of the United Methodist Church, officiated.

Burial was at Evergreen Cemetery, Center Rutland, Vt.
