Annette, 90, of Battle Creek passed away June 1, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Annette was born in Valenciennes, France to Leon and Jeanny (Carlier) Marchand.

Annette met Charles V. Snyder Sr., a soldier during WWII, they married on February 8, 1947 in Spring Lake and shared 69 loving years together before Charles' passing in December of 2016.

Annette worked in retail at the FW Woolworth Company in Battle Creek for 32 years, retiring in 1988. After retirement, she continued to work as a Clerk at Sam's Club for another 15 years before she fully retired at the age of 83. Annette enjoyed working and liked to keep busy. She loved traveling, working in her yard, her dogs and being with her family.

Annette is survived by her children, Gerard L. (Susan) Snyder of Athens, Charles V. (Barbara C.) Snyder Jr. of Athens, and Collette M. (Michael S.) Davis of Climax; 3 grandchildren, Justin Gerard (Jennifer) Snyder of San Diego, CA, Nicole L. (Keith) Fall of Summertown, TN, and Andrew G. (Skye) Cavey of Lansing; and 7 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Jeanny Marchand; husband, Charles Snyder Sr.; and grandsons, Ian L. Cavey in 2010 and Gerard Snyder in infancy.

A funeral service was held at the funeral home Saturday June 9, 2018. Annette wzx laid to rest next to her husband in Fort Custer National Cemetery on Monday June 11, 2018.
