Sharon Sue Carroll, 65, of Barboursville, WV, formerly of Parkersburg, passed away June 2, 2018 at the Cabell Huntington Hospital.
She was born September 25, 1952, in Corpus Christi, TX, a daughter of the late William J. and Oma Avalee McGraw Hanshaw.
Sharon was a 1970 graduate of Parkersburg South High School and was a graduate of the Huntington Beauty College. She was a member of the South Parkersburg Baptist Church and owned and operated Su-Lynn Beauty Salon in Parkersburg. She loved being with her family and going on trips to Myrtle Beach. She enjoyed her dog, Sammi Sue.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Ron Carroll; one daughter, Nicky Perkins (Aaron) of Huntington, WV; one son, Eric Carroll (Lindsey) of Ona, WV; three grandchildren, Dalton "Hot Shot" Perkins, Peyton "Princess" Perkins and Greer Perkins; one sister, Karol Mannarino (John) of Burke, VA; and her mother in-law, Clara Dupke of Parkersburg.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg with Pastor Don Yeager officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Parkersburg, Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
