Robert Lee “R.L.” Lively, Sr., 77, of Collins died Saturday, May 10, 2014, at Community Hospice surrounded by his family with much love, respect and dignity. Born in Tattnall County and a lifelong resident, he was the son of Ralph Steven Lively, Sr. and Maggie McDaniel Lively. He raised and trained horses and rode in horse shows. R.L. retired from the Tattnall County Road Department and was of the Freewill Baptist faith. He was a wonderful husband, daddy and granddaddy. Preceding him in death were his parents; an infant daughter; a brother, Ray Lively and a sister, Vera Kicklighter.

 Survivors are his wife of 57 years, Erlene Sikes Lively of Collins; a daughter and son-in-law, (Name Deleted) and Robert McCall (Now Deceased) of Collins; three sons and daughters-in-law, (Names deleted), all of Collins, and (Names deleted) of Vidalia; two brothers, (Name deleted) of Hillview Community and (Name deleted) of Collins; two sisters, (Name deleted) of Cobbtown and (Name deleted) of Metter; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

 Funeral services will be held Tuesday, at 11 a.m., at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel, with Rev. Johnny Beasley officiating. Burial will be in the Sunlight Cemetery.

 Visitation will be Monday, 6-8 pm, at the funeral home.

 Pallbearers will be Dustin Lively, Jimmy Ray Lively, Kenneth Beasley, Kevin Beasley, Lance Lively and Kyle Lively. Honorary pallbearers will be Earl Lively, Morris Lively, Pat Lively, Sonny Sikes and Jimmy Cowart.
