Dennis Richard Kennedy, 69, of Findlay, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2016. He was born on March 21, 1947 in Findlay to the late Richard and Mary (Foreman) Kennedy. He was a member of the FHS class of 1966 and was proud to be the first in his family to graduate. He traveled throughout most of his life living in four states, California, Oregon, Florida and Maryland. He then came back to Findlay in 2006 to be with his sister, Karen, who passed away in 2008. On July 12, 2016, he celebrated 18 years of sobriety and credits his success to his best friend, Eddie Gills, of Oregon. His quick humor and love for family and friends will be missed by those special people that were close to him, especially his cousin, Deb Kennedy Adams, of Florida, who has been a constant supporter throughout his life. Upon his wishes, there will be a visitation only on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME. Memorial contributions can be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice.
