After attending school in Cornish, Avis went on to work at Saco Valley Cold Storage, Co-Hi Orchards, G&S Variety, and Call’s Shop and Save.
She will always be remembered for the enjoyment she had watching the Red Sox and going shopping; however, it was her love of family that was most important to her.
She is predeceased by her husband- Robert Jones; a daughter- Sue Jensen; her siblings- Lois, Beverly, Maurice, and Richard “Dick”; and her son – in – law- Sidney Sanborn.
