Burnside, March 6 - Isaac F. Dean, 81, resident of Burnside township, Lapeer county, nearly all his life, and for many years a preacher of no denominational affiliation, died Tuesday in the home of his sister, Mrs. Hattie Crake, Burnside township, with whom he had been living.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the R. F. Carman funeral home, Brown City, with Rev. William K. Burgess, Marlette Mennonite pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery, Brown City. The remains are in the Carman funeral home.

Mr. Dean is survived by a son, Isaac Dean, Bay City; two sisters, Mrs. Crake and Mrs. Mary E. Smith, Birmingham, Mich.; two brothers, George A. Dean, Stockton, Calif., and Jacob Dean, Birmingham; and three grandchildren. He was born in Canada, Dec. 11, 1858, and came to Michigan with his parents when five years old, settling on a farm in Burnside township.

His wife, the former Eva Rouse, died a few years ago.
