Mr. Gary Nelson Parsons, 68, of Martinsburg, WV. died Friday, June 1, 2018 at Berkeley Medical Center, Martinsburg, WV.
Mr. Parsons, born in Berkeley County, WV.; was the son of he late George William Parsons and Martha Elizabeth Miller Parsons. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Ray Parsons and two sisters, Eva Lee Kees and Vesta Edwards.
He retired from the Department of highways with 29 years of service as an equipment operator. He enjoyed hunting, NASCAR, and playing cards at the cabin.
He is survived by his wife,Belinda Crawford Parsons; a son, Kevin Parsons; a daughter, Brandi Miller and husband Tyler; five brothers, Trammell "WT" Parsons, Calvin Parsons, Dale Parsons, Sherman Parsons and Darrell Parsons; a sister, Reva Butts; one grandchild, Liam Miller and all of his friends at the cabin.
The family received friends 6-8 PM, Monday, June 4, 2018 and on Tuesday 10-11 AM prior services.
The funeral services were held at 11 AM, Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel at Inwood with David Davis officiating.
Burial was made in Central Chapel Cemetery, Ganotown, WV.
