Leon Ray Henry of Stockton passed away at his home on December 11, 2011.
Leon was born in Deerfield, Kansas on March 27, 1937. Leon was a dedicated husband and a loving grandfather. He loved Western movies, Country music and playing his many guitars and harmonicas. Leon was very proud of his 19 years of sobriety.
His survivors include his wife of 26 years Patricia Henry; his children: Joah Henry; Josh Henry; Joseph Henry; his grandchildren: Billy Henry; Lonnie Henry-Lawson; Johnathon Henry; Jubel Henry; LaDonna Gentry and Jesse Henry; his surviving siblings: Opal Williams; Harold Henry; Pearl Humphrey; Glenda Napier; William Gardner; and Mary Gardner; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Earl and Clara Henry; his siblings: Earlene Hilton; Merl Henry; John Henry; Kenneth Henry; Leona Henry and Hubert Henry.
A gathering for family and friends will be held at Franklin & Downs McHenry Chapel on Friday, December 16, 2011 from 2pm until 5pm. Final resting place will be private.
