Grace L. (Riordan) Hurley of Kingston formerly of Quincy, Brockton and Boston, died on May 30th, she was the beloved wife of the late Robert J. Hurley. Born in Norfolk, VA on April 10, 1918 daughter of the late Thomas and Grace (Janvrin) Riordan. She was educated in Hyde Park and a graduate of Hyde Park High School she had worked for many years with John Hancock Insurance Company in Boston. Grace enjoyed playing the mandalyn during her younger years.
She is survived by her her sisters Gloria James of Pensacola, FL., Elizabeth Lucier of Randolph, Mary Lucier of Quincy Bertha Sharp of Stoughton and her brother Anthony Riordan of Lisbon Falls, Maine. She was the sister of the late Thelma Cuddy, Eileen Fallon, Lorraine Jackson, Rita Ledford, Viola Parker, Paul Riordan, Thomas Riordan and William Riordan. Also survived by several nieces and nephews including her nephew Thomas Runnals with whom she felt at home.
Visiting hours in the Davis Funeral Home 373 Court St. North Plymouth on Monday June 4th from 5-8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday June 5th at 10:30 am in St. Mary’s Church 313 Court St. North Plymouth. Burial in the MA National Cemetery in Bourne at 12:45 pm.
