A simple but pretty, quiet wedding took place on Wednesday morning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. Hartje just north of the city. Their daughter, Miss Margaret Marie, was married to Mr. Andrew Lee Slindee, Rev. W. F. Milbrath of the German Lutheran church officiated. Miss Emma Meyer and Mr. Arthur Slindee attended. Mrs. Ben King, Jr., of Dexter played the wedding march and Miss Alice Hayes sang sweetly "The Sunshine of Your Smile." The bride wore a white crepe de chene gown with lace trimmings, a veil held in place with rose buds. She carried a shower bouquet of roses and lillies of the valley. Following the ceremony and congratulations, a four course wedding breakfast was served at 11 o'clock under the direction of Mrs. Boyington. Pink and white roses and carnations on the tables and a large wedding cake was the center piece. This was decked with lillies of the valley. At noon they left for Chicago on a wedding trip. After December 15, they will be at home to
friends. They will reside at 100 South Chatham street.

The bride is well and very favorably known. She has assisted in various offices in the city and has won friends by her pleasant, courteous ways. She was in the office of Drs. Lewis & Rebman for three years. The groom has
resided with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Slindee of South River street. He is a machinist at the Hormel packing plant. They have every prospect for a happy and prosperous life.
