Evelyn Elizabeth "Curly" Porter, 90, of West Sunbury passed away at 11:15 a.m. Thursday at Grove City Medical Center.
Evelyn was born May 1, 1928, in West Monterey, Pa. She was the daughter of the late Preston Shawl and the late Gladys Armada Snyder Shawl.
Evelyn was a homemaker and a member of West Sunbury Presbyterian Church.
Evelyn is survived by two daughters, four sons; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Also surviving are one brother and a number of nieces and nephews.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Russell; her son, Ronald; and two sisters.
PORTER - The family of Evelyn Elizabeth "Curly" Porter, who died Thursday, May 31, 2018, will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at West Sunbury Presbyterian Church with her pastor, the Rev. Jeffrey Lang officiating.
Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park.
