Ronald Gene Snider, 73, of Parkersburg, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Camden Clark Medical Center.
He was born January 15, 1945, in Parkersburg, a son of the late Lloyd "Jigs" and Vivan Wolfe Snider.
Ron retired from Eramet as a furnace operator. He enjoyed his family, hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Parkersburg.
He is survived by four daughters, Vicki Jeffrey of Davisville, Sheila Wilson (Mike) of Parkersburg, Melissa Toby (Brad) of Vienna and Linda Brown (Chuck) of Muskogee, OK; three sisters, Kristy Nesselrode (Bob) of Parkersburg, Tina Kimble (Kenny) of Ranson, WV and Theresa Harding (Donnie) of Parkersburg; two brothers, Darrell Snider of Parkersburg and Larry Snider of Vienna; eighteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren on the way; special friend and companion, Tilly Snider of Parkersburg; his former wife of 35 years, Carol Snider of Parkersburg and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by one daughter, Rhonda Thompson; a son in-law, Neely Jeffrey II; four sisters, Linda, Shelia, Mona Lisa, Rita Jo Snider; three brothers, Michael, David and Danny Snider; and one grandson.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 4, 2018 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave, Vienna with Pastor Pasi Sikio officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen North Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
